Precision and accurate results

Closing lids for PCR and RT-qPCR for 0.1 ml or 0.2 ml tubes, in the form of 8-strand tapes, are an innovative product of the Googlab Scientific brand, which harmoniously combines exceptional functionality with reliability. These flat lids are designed to provide excellent protection and seal when performing PCR and RT-qPCR techniques, ensuring maximum precision and accuracy in results.

Closing lids for PCR and RT-qPCR are characterized not only by an aesthetic appearance, but also by a solid construction, ensuring durability and minimizing the risk of possible leaks or contamination. Made of the highest quality materials, these closure strips maintain the integrity of samples and effectively prevent possible distortion or loss of genetic information.

Reliability and convenience during testing – Closing lids for PCR and RT-qPCR

The unique design of the lids, referring to advanced technology, is not only visually attractive, but also meets the practical needs of the laboratory. Flat, smooth surfaces facilitate precise maVATulation, and ergonomic shapes ensure a comfortable and secure grip, even during intense series of experiments.

Thanks to their unique design and reliability, Googlab Scientific PCR and RT-qPCR closing caps become an indispensable partner in the everyday work of scientists, helping them focus on the essence of their research and achieve excellent results in the field of molecular biology. It is an investment in quality, precision and professionalism that emphasizes the value of each stage of the experiment.

Dnase/Rnase and Pyrogen Free

PCR and RT-qPCR closing caps marked “DNAse/Rnase and Pyrogen Free” are manufactured in such a way as to minimize the presence of DNA and RNA-degrading enzymes and substances that cause inflammatory reactions. This allows for more reliable and accurate results in molecular experiments that require keeping genetic material intact and minimizing potential interference.

FEATURES

  • Sample Sealing: These strips are used to hermetically seal 0.1 ml or 0.2 ml tubes that are used for storage and chemical reactions, including PCR and RT-qPCR.
  • 8-strip design: Closing strips are available as a strip connecting eight small tubes of 0.1 ml or 0.2 ml each. Such strips are convenient because they allow multiple reactions to be carried out at the same time, which is especially useful in laboratory work where we need many samples for analysis.
  • Flat Lids: Flat strip lids are optimized to fit tightly to tubes, helping to maintain airtightness and minimize the risk of possible sample contamination.
  • Material: Closing strips are made of materials that are resistant to the temperatures used in PCR and RT-qPCR reactions, including high temperatures during DNA denaturation and extreme temperature changes during thermal cycling.
  • Markings: Googlab Scientific brand strips have numerical markings that help identify individual samples in the strip, which is important when performing many reactions at the same time.
  • Automation: The strips are compatible with automatic PCR and RT-qPCR systems, which allows for even greater efficiency and precision in testing.
  • High quality materials: Strips and lids are usually made of high-quality plastics that are resistant to temperature changes, chemicals and other factors that may be present during PCR or RT-qPCR reactions.
  • Process optimalization: Thanks to the possibility of simultaneously carrying out many reactions in one strip, efficiency and time saving are increased. Different samples, conditions or genes can be tested in one run, which is beneficial in scientific research and diagnostics.
  • DNase and RNase: These are enzymes that degrade DNA and RNA, respectively. In molecular laboratories, DNase or RNase contamination can degrade target DNA or RNA, leading to inaccurate or erroneous experimental results. The “DNAse/Rnase Free” designation means that the cover strips and plates have undergone a process that removes or inactivates these enzymes to prevent degradation of the genetic material during experiments.
  • Pyrogens: Pyrogens are substances that can cause inflammatory responses in the body, such as fever. Pyrogens can influence experimental results and lead to disruptions in analyses. The “Pyrogen Free” designation means that the closure strips and plates have been processed to eliminate pyrogens, minimizing the risk of inflammatory reactions or interference with experimental results.

RANGES

  • Temperature range: room
  • Shelf life: 5 years from production date (make sure the packaging is in good condition)

USAGE

  • PCR is a technique used to amplify (duplicate) a specific DNA sequence in order to obtain enough genetic material for analysis. 8-strip closure strips with flat lids are used to close small 0.1 ml or 0.2 ml tubes in which the PCR reaction takes place. Each of these strips contains eight separate tubes, allowing eight independent PCR reactions to be performed simultaneously in one cycle.
  • RT-qPCR (Real-Time Reverse Transcriptase PCR):RT-qPCR is a technique that combines a reverse transcriptase step with PCR to detect and quantitatively measure the amount of nucleic acid (usually RNA) in samples. 8-strip closure strips with flat lids are also used in this technique, enabling multiple RT-qPCR reactions to be performed simultaneously.
