NEST Advanced Vacuum Filtration System
The NEST vacuum filtration system is a modern, disposable solution that enables fast and efficient filtration of aqueous biological solutions such as cell culture media, buffers and biological samples. Thanks to its innovative design, this system ensures simultaneous sterility and integrity of filtered samples.
Quick filtration and storage of samples
The NEST system enables processing of large sample volumes in a short time. Filtered solutions can be stored directly in sterile bottles, eliminating the need for additional sample transfers, minimizing the risk of contamination.
Various capacities and application flexibility
The system is available in five different capacities: 50 mL, 150 mL, 250 mL, 500 mL and 1000 mL, giving the user the flexibility to choose the right size for different laboratory needs.
High-quality construction materials
The NEST filtration system is made of non-toxic, high-strength USP VI polystyrene and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS). These materials provide excellent mechanical resistance and high transparency, which allows for easy monitoring of the filtration process and control of filtered fluids.
Low protein affinity PVDF membrane
The key element of the system is the polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) membrane, which has an exceptionally low affinity for proteins. The PVDF membrane provides fast flow and high filtration efficiency while maintaining sample integrity, making it an ideal choice for sterilization and preparation of biological media.
Ease of use and compatibility with various devices
The special, lightweight design of the system, along with clear graduations on the outer walls, facilitates handling and precise dosing. The hose connectors are designed to fit many hose diameters, which increases compatibility with other laboratory devices.
Sterility and safety at the highest level
The NEST system meets the highest quality and safety standards thanks to the full automation of the production process and Clean Room conditions. Electron beam (E-Beam) sterilization at SAL 10⁻⁶ ensures that the product is free from DNase, RNase, pyrogens and human DNA, which guarantees safe and reliable results in every laboratory procedure.
Full traceability and IVDR compliance
Each NEST filter set has a unique serial number, allowing for full traceability and tracking of the production batch. Compliance with Regulation 2017/746 (IVDR) qualifies the system as an in vitro diagnostic medical device, making it an ideal choice for both research and diagnostic laboratories.
