96-well SBS cryogenic vials

96-well SBS cryogenic vials by biologix are a modern solution designed for the safe storage of biological samples at extremely low temperatures. Perfect for use in biobanks, molecular and biological laboratories and research centers where long-term storage of cells, tissues, DNA/RNA samples, and other temperature-sensitive materials is required.

Discover the benefits of using SBS cryogenic vials

SBS standard: Compatibility with the Society for Biomolecular Screening (SBS) standard ensures easy integration with automatic laboratory systems, which increases work efficiency and enables process automation.

High Capacity: 96 wells enable efficient use of storage space while providing access to a large number of samples in one container.

Optimal Sample Protection: The vials are designed to operate at low temperatures, even in liquid nitrogen, ensuring the protection and stability of stored materials.

Durability and Safety: Made of low temperature resistant materials, our vials ensure durability and sample safety. They are also resistant to cracks and mechanical damage.

Easy Sample Identification: The transparent material and the ability to label each well make it easy to identify and organize samples.

FEATURES

  • Material: Strong medical grade polypropylene.
  • Laser-produced, readable 2D barcodes, resistant to DMSO and other organic solvents.
  • Simple and efficient mechanical locking function. To unlock, slide the buttons on both sides.
  • Operating temperature: stable from -196°C to 121°.
  • Suitable for freezing at -86°C and liquid nitrogen (gas phase.
  • Sterile, free from RNase and DNase, free from endotoxins, free from foreign DNA.

RANGES

  • Temperature range: -196°C to 121°C
  • Shelf life: 5 years from production date (make sure the packaging is in good condition)

USAGE

  • Cell and tissue storage: Ideal for long-term storage of biological materials such as cells, tissues, or DNA/RNA samples, at very low temperatures, often in liquid nitrogen.
  • Biobanking: Used in biobanks to store large quantities of biological samples in an orderly and easily identifiable manner.
  • Research: They support scientists in biological and medical experiments by enabling safe storage of samples in controlled conditions.
  • Compatibility with laboratory robots: The SBS standard allows integration with automatic sample handling systems, which is crucial in modern high-throughput laboratories.
