USAGE

  • Sampling: Plates are excellent for collecting samples of microorganisms from a variety of sources. They can be used to collect samples from soil, water, air, as well as from the surface of various objects. Due to their transparent nature, they allow researchers to precisely maVATulate the sample, minimizing the risk of contamination and material loss.
  • Microbial screening: Plates can be used to screen microorganisms onto various agar media. Thanks to their delicate surface, they do not damage bacterial or yeast colonies, enabling their even distribution on the media. This allows for the isolation and identification of individual species of microorganisms.
  • Preparation of microscopic smears: Plates are irreplaceable when preparing microscopic smears. They are used to evenly distribute microbial samples on microscope slides. Thanks to them, you can obtain a thin layer of the sample, which is ideal for analysis under a microscope. The transparency of the pads allows you to observe microorganisms without interference.
  • Transfer of microorganisms: Plates are used to transfer microorganisms from one medium to another, for example when transplanting bacterial colonies. Thanks to its anatomical design, you can precisely control the amount of material transferred to a new substrate, which is extremely important in order to obtain homogeneous cultures.
  • Preparing Biochemical Tests: Plates are also used to prepare biochemical tests, such as microbial identification tests. They can be used to collect samples of microorganisms and transfer them to special media that contain various substances, for example sugars or chemicals.
